My Surfing Holiday in Famara - Lanzarote

Left Famara only 30 hours ago, but am already missing it!
The location, the people, the landscape, but most of all the surfing!!
Everything was very well organised (both before and during our holiday) and the people from the surfschool made you feel right at home. The lessons were lots of fun with some useful theory laced in between the actual surfing. If you rent a car and have some energy left after a full day at the beach, there is lots and lots to see and do on Lanzarote. But we also enjoyed just hanging around serene Famara. This holiday exceeded my expectations and we are already trying to find some weeks off to go back later this year.

I really enjoyed my time in Famara and the team at Wavepals made it extra special. The 'one-on-one' feel of the lessons makes this school stand apart from the other surf schools available. Santi was very helpful with any questions/problems I had. Marcio is a great instructor; patient and friendly. All in all I had a wonderful holiday and a great 5 days of surf, i will definitely be back in the near future :)

Was complete beginner but now hooked and will definitely go surfing again. Recommend that people hire a car to get to Famara. Almost cheaper than taxi round trip to the airport and great to explore the rest of the island after surf lesson or on Sunday, when there are no lessons.
