Ricardo Leopoldo (32) - Surf Camp founder. Ricardo is one of the founders of the Peniche Surf Camp and responsible for the surf school, born and bred in Peniche. A certified surf instructor by the Portuguese Surf Federation in 1994 and never stopped teaching ever since. He began surfing at age 14, started to compete at 16 and his first surf lessons were given at 19. As a surfer he always dedicated fully to surfing. Knows Peniche like "the palm of his hand", having also surfed in countless Portuguese beaches from north to south and traveled to France, Spain, Azores, Madeira, Morocco, Cape Verde, Brazil, Panama, Mexico, U.S.A. and Indonesia always in search of the "perfect wave". What a JOB! |

João Gonçalo – Surf Instructor One of the most charismatic surfers of the new generation in Peniche, João Gonçalo is a young surfer with 23 years of age and lots of experience at the local beaches and waves (9 years). His long stay in Australia (6 months) helped him to mature his surfing and personality. Besides Surf Teaching, João is an university student, taking Tourism Management. He is a dynamic and creative teacher. |
