How is the weather? Sunny, all year around. In the winter(Dec/Feb) it gets cold (min 15º) and the sea water might be cold... Don't worry we have plenty of heaters in the house and warm wetsuits.
How is the water temperature? You need a 3/2 mm wet suit all year around. In August and September you can surf in shorts most times. November/ March you might need a 4/3 mm wet suit if you are not used to colder water.
How are the waves? Good all year around, better in fall, winter and spring; a little bit smaller in summer.
How do I get to the surf camp? We can help you finding a cheap flight to Portugal (Lisbon). Aiport transfers are included in our surf camp packages (2 or more persons/during the day) . We can also organize a rental car for you (with pickup at the airport). There are also plenty of public transportation options. Once you book you will received detailed information.
Is the surf equipment included? Yes, if you book surf camp package (during surf classes). No, you can't take it home after your holidays... (if you pay for it, no problem). But of course you can also bring your own equipment.
Can I buy surf gear or fix my board over there? Yes, we have a surf shop and a shaper here.
Which is the nearest airport? Lisbon. It's 25km from the surf camp, only 30m by car over the motorway. We can organize car rental (airport pick up) or transfers for you.
What kind of rooms do you have? We have single, double (also with double bed) and rooms for 4 to 6 people.
Are your courses for beginners or people who never surfed before? Yes, that's why we have a surf school. It's the perfect place to learn how to surf or improve your style.
But I have done a beginner course before! No worries, just join our level 2 group. Our surf instructores will help you with all you need to improve your style.
Do I need to bring a sleeping bag? Only if you wish... you don't need to. We provide covers, linen, pillows, towels, etc. |
