All Puerto Rico Surf Camp instructors are skilled surfers with many years of ocean and surfing experience, having taught up to professional level. They are friendly and competent with extensive experience in teaching beginner surfing techniques as well as experienced "surfari" guides, taking advanced surfers to best waves in Puerto Rico .

All instructors/guides are locals with high knowledge of the coast line that guarantee taking you to the best surf spots in Puerto Rico , according to your surfing level.

Roger W. - Co-Owner, Director of Surfing/Activities

A native of Brazil, Roger has been surfing since the age of 12 and has taught surfing for the past six years. He has surfed the shores of Australia, Fiji, Brazil, Hawaii, Peru, Portugal, France and California. He supervises a team of experienced CPR-certified instructors from around the world who provide exceptional surf instruction and positive reinforcement.

Roger is also a snowboard instructor and has spent the last three winter seasons teaching at Snow Summit, California.

Lisa De Bell - Co-Owner, Manager, Chef

A graduate of Leith’s School of Food and Wine in London, England, Lisa has over 25 years experience in the hospitality and food business. She has worked in Africa, the French Alps, Europe and California. She also holds a degree in Holistic Nutrition and believes in designing menus that are nutritious and healthy using homegrown or locally-produced ingredients whenever possible. Lisa is a certified Pilate's instructor and personal trainer with over 10 years experience in the health and fitness business.

NICOLAS MICHAEL

26, was born in Rincon and has been surfing since the age of ten.

He is a CPR-certified, bi-lingual instructor who has even succeeded in teaching his dog to surf!

ILIAD JAMES RIDAO,

29, is also a bilingual, CPR-certified lifeguard with over 17 years of surfing experience.

From 1998-2001, Iliad worked in North Carolina and Virginia as a lifeguard and is also a volunteer at his local fire department.

ANGEL MARTINEZ (Nego), 30, is a native of Rincon and has been surfing for more than 20 years.  Bilingual and a CPR-certified Lifeguard, Nego has been teaching surfing for the past five years.
